Founded in the garden city of Lahore in 1948. We Brothers has been growing very fast. Our initial focus was on providing everything including laboratory glassware and chemicals to labs everywhere in Pakistan. The first big change took place in 1976 when our founder Mr.Nazar-ur-Rahman Rana handed over the management to the second generation of the Rana family. Mr.Zohair Rana was appointed Chief Executive of the firm and he continues to hold this position today.

We Brothers decided to concentrate on selling analytical instruments only in 1979. By the year 1988, We Brothers was already considered as one of the top three instrument companies in Pakistan. During these formative years foundations were laid for very long lasting business collaborations with world class companies like Varian Inc., Leco Corporation, Thermo Orion, Thermo Spectronic, Sartorius AG, Labconco Corporation and the Foss Group which includes Foss Electric and Foss NIRSystems.

We Brothers has been converted into a private limited company effective July 01, 2002. Our head office remains at Lahore but we have a very strong presence in Karachi and Islamabad. We employ 40 people on full time basis. This includes 12 sales engineers and 7 service engineers. We have built our business on our service reputation and this is why the ratio of service to sales is 7:12.

Most of our sales and service staff are qualified technical people and they have been trained by our various principals abroad.

We cater to needs of laboratories in all segments of the market particularly pharmaceutical, petroleum and chemical, cement, fertilizer, sugar, food and the like. We are very proud of our long standing relationship with universities and research institutes in Pakistan.

The future looks very good for the company as our business is growing and we continue to add carefully selected complementary products in our product range. The latest addition is Netzsch Germany for Thermal Analysis equipment and Lenzing from Austria for the testing of various parameters in man made fibres.
